Investmentgesellschaft gibt ETF-Beteiligungen an Bitcoin im Wert von über 1,8 Milliarden USD in SEC-Einreichung bekannt

Investment firm discloses ETF holdings in Bitcoin worth over $1.8 billion in SEC filing

Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG)’s investments in Bitcoin ETFs

Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG) has reported in a 13F-HR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it owns over $1.8 billion in Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These assets primarily consist of shares in the Grayscale Bitcoin ETF GBTC, with total investments in this fund alone amounting to approximately $1.09 billion.

In addition to Grayscale, SIG has also invested in several other Bitcoin-related ETFs, including the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF, the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF Trust, and more. They also hold smaller amounts in products designed to leverage returns or profit from declines in the price of Bitcoin, such as the ProShares Short Bitcoin ETF, the Valkyrie Bitcoin Futures Leveraged Strategy ETF, and the Volatility Shares 2x Bitcoin ETF.

These investments demonstrate SIG's diverse strategy of using various financial products around Bitcoin to profit from its price movements without owning the cryptocurrency directly. This strategy is in line with a broader trend of institutional investors using Bitcoin ETFs to gain exposure to Bitcoin's price fluctuations while remaining regulatory compliant.
